GET STARTED WITH PRIVEE AI
Welcome to our beginners guide that will walk you through all the most important features and functionalities of our app.
Our chatting interface may look simple but it contains many useful features that can bring your experience to another level!
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
As you can see here, in the upper bar of the chat there are three fundamental buttons from left to right:

Model selector: click on the button to switch to a different language model. Language models differ both in terms of pricing and capabalities. The numbers next to the name (8B, 70B, 120B etc.) express the size of the model and provides a rough measure of its capabilities.

Reset Button: That button will delete all the messages in the thread and reset the current chat. It will not be possible to retrieve the deleted messages after that, so use it only when you are ready to do so.

Settings: Click it and you'll find a new menu. With different options inside.
Many of our characters have one or more pre-defined first message. As you can see in the picture above, you can use the selectors to browse all the different messages and start with the one you like the most.
CHAT SETTINGS
As you can see, there are different options and features that can be accessed from this menu:
- Save Chat You'll be able to save your chats and get them back at a second time using this function. If it's your first chat with a character the story will be named "Main". To learn more about saving stories, you can read our guide on "How to Save Chats".
- Non Verbal Dialogue: You can decide to deactivate non-verbal dialogues in the chats to make your interactions closer to a chat with a real human being. Just switch the selector to turn them off or on as you like.
- Persona Settings: This is an interesting feature that allows you to provide information about yourself to the character. To learn more about Personase you can read our dedicated guide.
- Voice: From this menu you can customize the voice of the character you are chatting with. To learn more about voices you can make reference to this guide.
MANAGE MESSAGES:
When in the middle of a chat you'll be able to maintain full control of everything, adapting the storyline to your needs.
Sometimes Characters may produce answers that are not what you were expecting as, like real people, they are not able to read your mind. The downside is that, despite real people, AI Characters base their replies on the previous context (the old messages in the chat). So keeping there a reply that you don't like may affect the following messages.
Luckily we provide you with all the tools to overcome those situations: if you're not 100% satisfied of a character's reply you can just click on the three dots circled below and you'll be able to chose the better option.
At the click a menu will pop out as shown below:
As you can see, the menu that pops out provides you with a few different options:

Edit: This option will let you modify the character's reply to meet your tastes. Editing messages is free.

Delete: Will delete the message from the chat. We recommend doing this only on old messages to save memory space or in those cases where your message has some problem (i.e. incomplete, non intended). In all the other cases it is better to proceed with deleting or regenerating a message. Deleting messages is free, but you'll have to generate a new message to keep the chat going.
EDIT VS REGENERATE
As mentioned above, we also offer the chance to regenerate an answer. To do so just click on the button below the message.
We recommend to use the regenerate option only when you're not completely satisfied of the answer but you do not have a clear idea of the outcome you want, so it's better to leave it up to the character itself.
In all the other cases we beleve that editing the message is the better option to obtain what you want fast and without paying additional gems.
